U Value Insulation offers a KLEIB product C7 silicone plaster which is a protective and decorative plaster. It contains excellent vapour permeability, and is resistant to dirt, colour fade, and weather conditions. This product also contains full microbiological protection of the coating. The silicone render that U Value Insulation offers comes in a 1.5mm grain size, providing a durable thin coat render system.
It is often chosen for its durability and resistance to cracking and weathering over time. As obvious as it may seem, silicone render contains silicone – which is a polymer that is rubbery and has a greater resistance to high temperatures, and is impervious to mold growth. Silicone render is more elastic than some other rendering materials, which means it can accommodate slight movements in the building structure without cracking. Like acrylic render, silicone render comes in various colors and finishes to match the desired look of the building.
